DIgital Detox is a short fashion film born from a reflection on a timely and delicate issue:
how much of our “real” life are we willing to sacrifice while spending hours engaged in digital activities? “Normality” has become using social media more than we need, avoiding listening to the human voice on the phone in favor of sped-up voice messages, and working remotely without seeing our colleagues. Finding balance is not always easy.

In a world suspended between the real and the symbolic, Digital Detox unfolds as a journey of radical healing. Maria—a psychotherapist who has embraced shamanic practices—leads Cathryn, a young model consumed by the relentless pull of social media, through a ritual of transformation. To begin, she destroys Cathryn’s digital devices…
